Terms of service
These terms cover your use of the Project Arthouse website. By using the site you agree to them. If you commission work from us, that work is covered by the written proposal or agreement we sign with you, and where the two differ, that agreement applies.
Using this site
You are welcome to browse the site, open the demos and send us a brief. Please do not copy the site, interfere with how it runs, try to reach briefs that are not yours, upload files that are harmful or that you have no right to share, or use the site for anything unlawful.
Rates and quotes
Prices shown on the rate card are the current prices for each plan and may change. Where a plan is listed in more than one currency, each is a price in its own right and not a conversion of the other. Services without a listed price are quoted in writing after we have discussed them. A project begins only when we both agree what is being made, when, and at what cost.
Demos
The birthday and wedding samples are demonstrations. The names, dates, venues, photos and plans in them are made up, and nothing you type into a sample is sent or stored. The birthday sample plays a short tune when you decorate the room.
What you send us
You keep ownership of anything you send. You give us permission to use it only to reply to you, prepare a proposal and build what you ordered. For an occasion website you confirm that you have the right to share the photos and messages you give us. We may decline or remove a submission that looks abusive or automated.
Ownership
The text, design and code on this site belong to Project Arthouse or to the clients and partners who allowed us to show them. You may not reuse them without written permission. Ownership of work we make for clients is set out in each project agreement.
Links to other sites
The site may link to services we do not run. We are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.
No warranty
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be heard by the courts with jurisdiction where Project Arthouse is registered.

Short lines of film and television dialogue are quoted for comment, with the title named beside each one: 3 Idiots (2009), Apollo 13 (1995), Back to the Future (1985), Field of Dreams (1989), Forrest Gump (1994), Game of Thrones (2011), Jaws (1975), Jerry Maguire (1996), Mad Men (2007), Mr. India (1987), Om Shanti Om (2007), Taxi Driver (1976), The Empire Strikes Back (1980), The Fellowship of the Ring (2001), The Godfather (1972), Toy Story (1995). Typefaces: Instrument Sans and Instrument Serif; in the birthday sample Playfair Display, Cormorant Garamond and DM Sans; in the wedding sample Rozha One and Tiro Devanagari Sanskrit. All are under the SIL Open Font License.
The wedding sample names a real hotel only to show how a venue and a map link appear on an invitation. The couple, their families and every arrangement in it are made up, and Project Arthouse has no connection with the hotel. Its Sanskrit verses are traditional; the seven steps are quoted from the Āśvalāyana Gṛhyasūtra (1.7.19) and the closing verse from the Ṛgveda (10.191.4).
